Glossary

Bonding curve. A contract that prices a token by how many tokens it has sold so far. It always quotes a price and trades against its own reserve, so a new token can trade from its first second without a market maker.

Creator. The wallet that created a token on Launch. It earns a share of the fees on every trade of that token.

Elysium. Kinetiq’s Layer 2 for Hyperliquid, where Colysium runs. See Elysium network.

Fee vault. The contract that holds every fee credited to creators, referrers and Colysium until each one claims it.

Graduation. The moment a curve token’s curve sells out and its HYPE and reserved tokens move into a locked pool on the creator’s chosen venue.

Guardian. A role that can pause new launches and nothing else.

HyperEVM. Hyperliquid’s EVM chain. Elysium settles to it.

HYPE. Hyperliquid’s native token. On Elysium it pays for gas, and all Colysium fees are counted in it.

Locked liquidity. Pool liquidity that no contract can withdraw. All graduation liquidity on Colysium is locked.

Market cap. A token’s price multiplied by its total supply, counted in HYPE.

Referrer. The wallet a trader is bound to through a referral link. It earns a share of that trader’s fees.

Sniper tax. An extra charge on buys in the first seconds of a launch, falling to zero. It goes to the Colysium treasury.

Straight to pool. A launch mode that skips the bonding curve and puts the whole supply into a Colysium pool from the first block.

Timelock. A contract that holds a queued admin change for a fixed delay before it can take effect, so everyone can see it coming.

Venue. The pool a token trades in after graduation: the Colysium pool or Uniswap V3.

WHYPE. Wrapped HYPE, the ERC-20 form of HYPE.
