How a launch works

StatusRules final. Contracts in build and test on Elysium testnet. Addresses are published here after deployment and verification.

Launch lets anyone create a token on Elysium in one transaction. Creating a token is free. Every token has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, and the creator chooses up front how it starts trading and where it trades for the rest of its life.

Curve Straight to pool
How it starts Trades on a bonding curve that sells 800,000,000 tokens The whole supply goes into a single Colysium pool position from the first block
Opening market cap 31.25 HYPE 31.25 HYPE
Trading fee 1% on the curve, then the venue’s fee 1%, for life
Fair-launch rules Sniper tax and wallet cap The same sniper tax schedule, enforced by the pool
Liquidity Locked at graduation Locked from the start
  1. Create. The creator sets a name, a ticker of 2 to 6 characters, an image and links, and picks the venue the token moves to after graduation. An optional first buy happens in the same transaction.

  2. Trade on the curve. The price rises with every buy and falls with every sell. Each trade pays 1% in HYPE: 0.5% to the creator, 0.1% to the trader’s referrer and 0.4% to Colysium. For the first seconds the fair-launch rules apply.

  3. Graduate. When the curve has sold its 800,000,000 tokens it has raised 100 HYPE. The buy that takes the last token moves that HYPE and the remaining 200,000,000 tokens into a pool on the chosen venue, in the same transaction.

  4. Trade on the venue. The liquidity is locked for good. The creator keeps earning from every trade, at the venue’s rate.

The creator picks the venue when creating the token. Two venues are live from the start:

  • Colysium pool: a Uniswap V4 pool with Colysium’s fee hook, at the lowest fee, 0.75%.
  • Uniswap V3: the 1% fee tier, with the position locked.

More venues are added over time through a typed venue registry. See Graduation and venues.
